Safety Window Film
Windows are one of the weakest points on your building, our safety window films make forced entry more difficult for vandals and burglars protecting your business assets. Unprotected glass can lead to catastrophic injuries and damage. Every piece of glass is susceptible to the forces of nature whether it arrives from inclement weather or everyday use. Window protection, such as Madico safety window films provide security for your home and business.
Available in a wide range of tints, styles and grades, our safety films are specially designed to deter everything from forced-entry, the high winds of storms to the costly eyesore of graffiti.

Safety Window Film Solutions
Safety & security films are designed to prevent or deter unauthorized entry from buildings and structures. “Smash and Grab” thefts are always a risk for retail store owners. Criminals can gain inside access by just breaking the glass. We can minimize asset loss by frustrating thieves who rely on speed of entry.

Graffiti vandals cost American retailers more than $600 million annually in replacement costs associated with scratched glass. Enpro has the answer – Graffiti-Free security window film. It is perfect for storefront windows, display and restroom mirrors, glass and polycarbonate displays, glass elevators & escalator railings, and bus shelters.
Graffiti-Free is a 2-ply, 6-ml., laminated film designed to protect both glass and polycarbonates. Anti-graffiti films act as a sacrificial barrier to protect glass from etching and high-traffic wear.

Our Bomb/Blast systems are specifically engineered and tested to meet stringent federal and state mandated standards, more so than any other manufacturer in the industry. Blast Mitigation Films reduce injuries to personnel and damage to property.
The powerful blast from a bomb can cause immeasurable destruction. It would seem that windows shattering would be the least of it, but a single square foot of glass can produce up to 200 deadly, razor-sharp fragments. Flying glass shards are what many times cause severe injury, and even death.

We offer two different patented and proprietary Anchoring Restraint System solutions – each with its own level of performance. Our highly trained team will work with you to select the appropriate Anchoring Restraint System, in conjunction with the application of our safety film, to meet your specific criteria and threat concern.
The FrameGard Anchoring System has been specifically engineered to keep treated glass within the frame when an incident has occurred. It is a “mechanical” attachment system that clamps the filmed glass to the window frame. This system improves and extends the principle of edge battening by incorporating a specific movement zone (patent applies) which allows the film to move under applied load without putting excessive force onto the fixings and frame.
The benefit of FrameGard is that it allows engineers and installers to precisely determine torque settings for each individual installation, creating a truly custom solution. Another advantage of this system is that it can be reused in most cases, where only the glass has been damaged.
The SafetyShield Wet Glaze System utilizes Dow Corning 995 Structural Silicone to create a bond that connects the filmed glass to the existing window frame. During a natural or manmade disaster, the Wet Glaze System is designed to maintain the structure of the shattered glass while the Dow Corning 995 reduces the shearing effect along the edges of the window frame.
This system may be specified for use in blast mitigation, hurricane protection and forced-entry applications.
